- Aataentsic cut down the tree in half so that she could get the fruit from the top of the tree but it fell through a giant hole. But she needed the fruit so she decided to jump after the tree to try and getg the fruit.
- The theme of the sky tree is that animals are creatures that in native American literature have been of great help in creating the world we know today.
- Turtle saw Aataentsic jump after the tree and got all of the animals to help him put soil on his back so that he could build land so that the tree could be planted again
- They succeeded and created and island big enough where they could put the tree and have space for seeds to grow
