- Santiago was thinking about what the old man told him about omens, when the waiter came and asked him what he wanted to drink. Santiago said whatever that man was drinking, while pointing at a man drinking some kind of liquid.

- How can you speak spanish?
- A weird arab man sat next to Santiango and asked in spanish who are you? Santiago was shocked because he didn't think that the man could speak spanish. He asked him how he spoke spanish fluently? and the man said its because spain was only 2 hours away from where they were. Santiago told him that he wanted to go to the Pyramids and he wants him to take him there.

- The man agreed, and Santiago finally found a guide that was willing to take him to the pyramids. He didn't want to blow his only chance to getting there, but he was suspicious. Before he could fully understand what was happening, the owner of the bar came over and shouted in arabic, the guide turned and told Santiago that he wanted us to leave.
