- August:“I hate my ears” "They look like squashed pices of pizza“I look like Lobot.”
- EarDr.:“In The Empire Strikes Back.” “Do you like Star Wars?”
- August:“I do.” “Lobot is cool.”
- Chapter 8:Miranda
- Miranda: “My parents are in Europe.I live in a big house.I have a dog called Daisy.”
- On a third date Via said she had a brother and he had a “craniofacial abnormality”.First Justin was shocked.One day Justin met August.He saw August when August and Jack were in August’s room.Justin was surprised,but Justin shook hands and didn’t try to look at August’s face.And the Justin said to August:

- Miranda:“I have a little brother who is deformed.”
- Jack and August made a science project.They made a potato lamp.August hated his ears.Now he had a hearing aid.And August said:

- Miranda's parents divorced.Her mother didn’t talk much with Miranda or sometimes her mother told Miranda about her feelings.Miranda went in a summer camp.In a summer camp the kids asked her about her home and family and she invented things:

- August’s mom: “For being you” “You really are a wonder,Auggie…a wonder.”

- Girls:“Oh,no.Sorry”
- In the spring of every year,class five went away for three days and two nights,to a nature reserve.There are cabins with bunk beds.Next day they went horseback riding in the morning and they climb trees in the afternoon.In the dinner they back to the cabins because they're tired.Then they had rest and then they went to a fairground to saw an outdoor movie.They put our sleeping bags on the ground.In the middle of the movie Jack needed the toilet.August went with Jack,but there's a longed queue.He followed Jack toward the trees.They went behind a tree,it’s very dark.And then they met a group of older kids with a flashlight.This group made bullying to August.And the girls said:

- 5 One girl: “Stop it,Eddie.”
- 6Another boy: “It’s Alien.”
- All the people went to a graduationceremony.Went the parents,children,brothers,sisters...Mr.Tushman stood up on a stage to kept the medals to the children he kept medals to children and finally he said:
- August’s mom: “Thank you.”
- August: “For what?”
- Mr.Tushman:“The final medal” “Is the HenryWard Beecher award for courage,kindness,friendship and character.These are the qualities that make us great human begins.The award goes to August Pullman”
