  • Odysseus and his crew travel to the island of the great Cyclopes (gigantic humanoids with one eye). Odysseus and a small group go to the cave of the cyclops Polyphemus, hoping to steal his sheep. Polyphemus unfortunately caught them, trapping the group in the cave and ate some of them. After three days, Odysseus was successful in blinding the cyclops and escaped with the sheep. Being a little too cocky, Odysseus gave his name the cyclops, not knowing he was the son of Poseidon. The god of the sea would go on to be a huge problem while sailing.
  • You're going to pay cyclops idiot!

  • After escaping the island of the cyclopes, they set sail to the floating island of Aeolus for his winds. They could easily send the boats sailing back home. However after nine days of sailing, the crew foolishly opened the winds, sailing them all the way back to Aeolus. This time, he furiously expelled the adventurers. After losing several men to the gigantic Laestygonians, Odysseus made it to the island of Aeaea. The island is unhostile to outsiders and is home to the beautiful Circe.
  • No problem my friend! Just be careful with the bags
  • He's going to release the winds, isn't he?
  • Thank you for the winds, great Aeolus!
  • I promise I will! You have my word

  • Odysseus and his loyal men reach Aeaea, Circe's homeland. He splits the men into two group. One group stays by the shore and the other went up to Circe's house. When they came into the house, Circe tricked them and drugged them, turning most of them into pigs. The only one left outside was Eurylochus. He went back down to the shore and told Odysseus what happened. By himself, he went to confront the goddess. With the help of Hermes' magic, Odysseus was immune to being drugged. Circe surrendered to him and converted his twenty men back into humans. Circe gave the travelers enough food that they stayed for a year and provided the Odysseus with guidance of getting to the underworld. Their next part of the journey.
