- Once upon a time, there lived a young princess named Elizabeth who lived in a grand castle in Europe.
- She was very excited because her 10th birthday party was coming up in just a couple of days!
- You're Invited to Princess Elizabeth's 10th birthday party! RSVP: 987-654-3210 When: March 3rd Where: The Castle
- Her whole family was working hard to prepare for her magnificent birthday party.
- For Princess Elizabeth's birthday party, the whole ballroom would be decorated with her favorite colors, pink and yellow. And every important person in the village would be invited to the big event.
- And of course, all of Elizabeth's favorite foods would be served at the party!
- The days flew by and before Elizabeth knew it, it was the morning of her party!
- However, Princess Elizabeth was feeling very sad.
- "What's wrong?" Elizabeth's older sister asked. "I'm really sad, but I don't know why." said Elizabeth.
- Well maybe we can help cheer you up!" exclaimed Elizabeth sister.
- "Are you hungry? Do you want to eat breakfast?" her mother asked.
- "Maybe you need to go play outside?" her dad wondered.
- "Would you like to play a game? We can play dress up and be fancy!" said her sister.
- "Or we could play your favorite board games!" her brother suggested.
- "Do you want to go shopping at the mall?"
- "Hey Elizabeth! We could go exploring in the forest!"
- "Or travel to another land!"
- "Or hunt for lost treasure!"
- "That all seems like a lot of fun, but I'm still not happy." stated Elizabeth.
- "It looks like your party is about to start soon. That will surely make you feel better!"
- "I guess." Elizabeth said. " I thought a big party was what you wanted." asked her mother.
- "I did, but now I think it would be more fun to just spend sometime together as a family." Elizabeth told her family.
- And with that, Princess Elizabeth knew that life's special moments only truly matter when you spend it with the people you love.
