- On February 22, 1732, in Popes Creek, Virginia, George Washington was born.
- In around 1752, when Washington was 20, he fought in the French and Indian War.
- After the war, Washington returned to Virginia and worked as a farmer in 1760.
- Washington D.C.
- In 1789, George Washington partook in the president election, and found out he was elected for president.
- As president, George Washington spoke out against unfair laws and high taxes.
- After George Washington's death on December 14th, 1799, Washington D.C was named after him in his honor.
