Ralph takes a walk on the beach to clear his mind. On this walk he discovers the wearisome of life itself. He is now facing the struggles of being a leader, he has to keep everyone in check and make sure they're happy at the same time.
Ralph called a meeting to talk about how they are no longer following his instructions and reinforces some older rules that they haven't been listening to.
Phil and the other littl'uns were talking about what they feared. Ralph tries to comfort them by saying Jack has been all over this island and he hasn't seen the beast. Phil then says it comes out of water, which leads them into shock because they have no way if proving him right or wrong.
Here we have Jack beginning to lash out on almost everyone. Jack begins by calling the littl'uns a lot of mean names like cry-babies. He continuouslycalls Piggy fatty and telling him that no one cares for what he has to say.
Piggy tries to say that life is scientific and there is no way that there is a beast and even less of a chance that he lives in the water. He then says unless and stops for a minute, he adds on to that by suggesting it could just be Ralph or someone else that is up late at night.
Jack does not want to be told what to do anymore. He says bollocks to the rules and takes the younger kids with him. Ralph is sort of surprised with how many kids left with Jack. Only Piggy and Simon stayed behind with Ralph and told him to blow the conch, he decides not to saying they'll come back to them later.
This meeting must not be fun, but business.
The beast comes out of the sea
Serve you right if something did get you, you useless lot of cry-babies.
Bollocks to the rules
I know there isn't no beast-not with claws and all that.
We have lots of assemblies. Everybody enjoys speaking and being together. We decide things. But they don't get done.
