- Riding the bus to Mr. Fabers house

- shut up!
- At Mr. Fabers home
- what are you doing!? Stop that!
- Montag is on his way to the subway.
- Montag and Mildreds House
- Monatg finally arrives at the station. During the ride, he gets very annoyed by the strident advertisements. Then yells in his head ''shut up!, shut up!, shut up!''
- Mildred and her two friends
- You heave them into the 'parlor' and turn the switch.
- Faber told him that he will not help him. Montag gets upset and starts to rip the bible pages up. Faber gets up from his seat and yells at him to stop.
- Montag gets very upset
- Go Home! Go Home! And never return!
- During Faber and Montag's walk to Montag's house, he saw two friends of Mildreds walking inside of their house.
- I shouldn't be here.
- Montag walks in seeing Mildred and her friends talking. Mrs. Phelps, wearing the nice purple dress talks about what happened to her past husbands. She spoke about them like if it was very common for people to commit suicide. The other lady with the red hair is Clara. She spoke about what she does with her children.
- Montag got very upset. He took out a book and showed it to them. They were surprised, Montag started to read a poet. At the end, Mrs. Phelps began to cry. She hated it very much and it hurt her. Clara was mad as well. Mildred tried to make them stay, but they refused to. They told Mildred that they won't want to see Montag ever again. Then they both left.
