- This book is about a bombing which has the Americans and Hideki family and people like him have to go to war. He live on a island that is called Okinawa
- The American search
- Hideki Kaneshiro is a middle school boy who was at school with his friends. He was playing around in the class room. Everyone was tolled that there was going to be a bombing on them in a minute, Hideki knew that is this was a real bombing that he would have to go into war with his dad. Him and his dad would have to fight the Americans in a war. When all of a sudden they heard this big sound like something huge exploded.

- Hey kid do not move!
- That big explosion that everyone heard was an Americans bombing on their school. Within a second the school was destroyed. Hideki was stuck under a lot of bricks and he had a lot of splinter.
- The end

- When the school was destroyed, the American started to search the school. The Americans looked everywhere for where kids where and adults. Only a few people survived the bombing. The Americans the ones that have survived.

- The Americans bring him somewhere he has never been before. The Americans start to train everyone. He did not understand what war training was like until they had him do it. At this point he did not understand why they had to bomb the school.
- He went into a fight with other people. Hedeki had set up a trap that was covered by leafs. Him and the Americans won the fight.Thank youThe end
