- a. The Navigation Act was a law that made it illegal to trade with any other country except Britain, sometime only allowing British ships to be used in trade b. The colonists were upset because their trade was restricted

- a. The Stamp Act was a law that made colonists pay tax for all paper products (newspaper, playing cards, legal documents, etc) because the British were in debt from the warb. The colonists decided to boycott all these items until the tax was taken off

- a. The Quartering Act was a law that forced all colonists to provide a soldier with housing, food, bedding, and transportation for as long as the soldiers wantedb. The colonists were angry because they had to allow the soldiers to live in their homes and do extra stuff to make sure they were happy.
