- Romeo tells Juliet he was able to enter the orchid without being seen because of his love for her

- Juliet states that she is blushing because of the affection Romeo showed her. Juliet is worried that Romeo doesn't love her but Romeo promises by the moon he loves her.

- Don’t swear by the moon. The moon is always changing. Every month its position in the sky shifts. I don’t want you to turn out to be that inconsistent too.
- Juliet doesn't want Romeo swearing by the moon since the moon is inconsistent and she doesn't want Romeo to turn out inconsistent .

- Don’t swear at all. But if you have to swear, swear by your wonderful self, which is the god I worship like an idol, and then I’ll believe you.
- Juliet doesn't want Romeo swearing by anything but if he has to swear, he has to swear by his wonderful self and then Juliet will believe him

- Juliet hears a noise from her nurse inside ,Romeo thinks this is too sweet to be real.
