- Meet your new babysitter.
- Chloe is an 8 year old girl who loves to spend time with her family. She has no siblings so she gets all the attention in the world.
- I'm cleaning, get out!
- You should not be in here!
- Chloe’s parents work for the government and normally work long hours. They have been spending a lot of their time working on a secret project for the government.Because of their busy lifestyle, they have a babysitter for Chloe. The babysitter comes before school, after school and sometimes on the weekends when her parents are at work.
- Why was she in the home office?Why was the computer on? Why were there papers everywhere on the floor?
- Unfortunately Chloe’s normal babysitter had become sick so her parents organised a new babysitter who seems a little odd.
- Yes it is all sorted out. Do not worry, I have all the designs!
- Sorted out? What's sorted out?
- One Wednesday morning as Chloe was getting ready for school, her babysitter was already at her house.Her babysitter seemed to be acting very odd and unusual all morning.Chloe even caught her snooping around the home office which she was not allowed near.
- While at school, Chloe could not stop thinking about her babysitter’s odd behaviour which just did not seem right. Chloe had all these images of the odd things her babysitter had been doing in her head.While she was in her thoughts, she began to feel something hover over her body. She stopped thinking about her babysitter and the feeling went away.
- That afternoon, Chloe’s babysitter picked her up from school and they walked home.The whole walk home, her babysitter’s phone did not stop ringing.Chloe noticed her babysitter’s mood had also changed since the morning. When they got home, the babysitter stayed outside to finally answer the phone.
- As Chloe went inside, she noticed her mother’s handbag was on the kitchen bench.Chloe was confused because her babysitter still came to pick her up from school. The feeling of something hovering over her came back. Chloe stopped thinking too much about the handbag and assumed her mother was in a rush this morning. After all it has been a very strange day, at least for Chloe.
- Why is mummy's handbag on the bench?
- While Chloe was doing her homework, she could hear noises coming from the home office. Chloe found this to be impossible as no one was home besides her and her babysitter.She decided to investigate the noise coming from the hallway.
- Chloe could definitely hear movement coming from inside the home office. She tried to open the door but it was locked from the inside. She kept trying to pull on the door knob and pushed against the door. Chloe finally got the door unlocked!
- As the door opened, Chloe was very confused to see her parents tied up.She began to panic as she heard her babysitter come back inside and call her name. Chloe quickly began to take the tape off her parents and untie their arms.The footsteps of her babysitter began to get closer and closer.
- The babysitter rushed into the home office. With all the energy in Chloe’s body, she looked at her babysitter in anger. Chloe was hoping that there was a way she could freeze time and change everything.
- If it wasn't for your superpowers, all our hard work would have been stolen.
- Chloe began to feel something hover over her body. It was the same feeling she had been experiencing all day. Everyone in the room was looking at Chloe in shock. All of a sudden, Chloe had frozen her babysitter.
- Chloe was feeling many different emotions. She was scared as she realised she had the power of being able to freeze people. She also thought that she was going to get in big trouble because of what she did.Instead, everyone had thanked Chloe for her bravery.
- Mr and Mrs Smith:
- That night, Chloe’s parents sat her down to explain the reason why they were being spied on. Her parents explained how they were working on a secret project worth over millions of dollars. Other businesses and companies wanted to get ideas from Chloe’s parents, but they did not want to share anything until they finished it.
