- Hey, Do you know what the cell theory is? Ive never been able to figure it out.
- I do know what it is actually, first there are three parts. One is that all cells are made up of pre-existing cells, the second one was is all living organisms are made up of one or more cells. lastly, cells are the basic unit of structure and organization. That is the cell theory.
- Hey again, you know I also have been wondering. What scientists were involved in the cell theory?
- Yes actually I do! there were five of them, one of them was named Robert Hooke. He discovered cells in the first place, another guy was Anton Van Leeuwenhoek, he looked at cells in a whole new way that was very effective. one more guy was Matthias Schleiden, He discovered that animals and plants were made of cells. Another person was theodore Schwann, He throughly discovered that animals and plants are made up of cells. The last scientist was Rudolf Virchow he discovered, that all cells are made up of pre-existing cells.
- Well they actually all discovered the things the same way, They all looked very closely through there microscopes, and that pretty much got them to there final conclusions.
- Omg I ran into you again, I just have one more question. How did they discover them?
