- The french revolution happened because the people were treated poorly. also people were spilt into three estates. 
- The Tennis Court Oath
- Some factor were that there were high prices for poor crops. They had high taxes as-well. at this time America was just become America and they were questioning how they should govern.
- The Storming of the Bastille
- on May 5th of 1789 all three estates came together to figure out the money problem. The king Louis XVI had spend lots of money on war and on him self. it ended with the third estate forming into an assembly and starting the french revolution. 
- The Great Fear
- Emmanuel-Joseph Sieyes suggested that the Third Estate should rename themselves the National Assembly and pass laws. On June 17 1789 the people of the third estate got together and pledged to write a constitution for France.
- In july of 1779 there were rumors that the king was going to use military forces on the national assembly so the people of the third estate started trying to prepare and get weapons and a mob was looking for gunpowder so they raided it. Also took the heads of commanders and guards that they killed and put their heads on sticks and walked around.
- People think that the nobles were hiring outlaws to terrorize the peasants and burn the tax documents or the building there were in so they wouldn't have to pay their taxes.
