Once, a princess gave birth to twin sons, Romulus and Remus. There father was Mars, the god of war. After they were born, they were kidnapped by there Uncle and were sent to drown in the Tiber river. However, a wolf saved them and raised them her self. When Romulus and Remus grew up they built a city. Then they had a big fight and Remus ended up dying.

The Romans were excellent builders because they were taught by the Etruscan's. The Etruscan's 2 main structures were arches and the cuniculus. The arches were made out of wedge-shaped stones. The cuniculus was a underground irrigation system to drain swamps and distribute water to their cities.

The Romans learned 2 sports which were chariot races and fights were they battled each other or wild animals. During the chariot races they were strapped to their chariots. During the fights, they fought until one would die.
The Romans borrowed and learned from Greeks architecture. The Romans used the Greeks design and made their own buildings. They made their buildings out of concrete, including the coliseum.
The Greek and Roman's alphabet were similar because they both wrote it in capital letters, wrote by carving it into plaques and walls. The Greek influence on the Romans Art was so great that historians speak of it. The Romans and Etruscan's both favored arts as well. The Romans believed the Greek's religion about their gods so they made gods of their own and gave them Roman names.
