In this quote Brutus is appealing to the audience using pathos. He gets to their emotions because he is saying that he weeps for Caesar and that he is happy for Caesar. This is the first sign that shows how easily the audience can be swayed by one man's emotions.
In this quote Brutus has shown Logos because the evidence of why he killed Caesar is in the Capitol and people can go see it for themselves of the reasons why he was killed by Brutus and the other people who contributed in the murder.
I have done no more to Caesar than you shall do to Brutus. The question of his death is enrolled in the Capitol. (Shakespeare, 36-38)
With this I depart: that, as I slew my best lover for the good of Rome, I have the same dagger for myself when it shall please my country to need my death. (Shakespeare, 44-47)
In this quote, Brutus establishes his credibility with the crowd using ethos. He says that he will do what is best for Rome, even if he has to die for his country. This easily establishes the trust and credibility throughout the crowd.
