- Feudalism
- I'm a noble, and I'm part of feudalism.
- Pope/Church
- I hope no one fights today and that everyone is peaceful.
- Monarchs
- I do hope my more husband doesn't break under all the stress.
- Too much land to govern. I must give some to my Barons
- A social system existing in medieval Europe in which people worked and fought for nobles who gave them land and protection.
- Nobles
- The Pope was the leader of the Church and managed the diocese. Popes were very rich because they received a tithe of ten percent from all people.
- Knights
- Ugh! It's so boring standing here. I wish I was called into battle or something.
- The King is the top of the land and divides the land between the Barons. In return, the Barons are loyal to the King. When the King died his son inherited the throne.
- Peasants
- This is so unfair! Other peasants get to be blacksmiths or tailors while I have to work hard in a field!
- Nobles ruled fiefs given to them by the King. They had an army ready for the King's service at any time and if they did not they made a tax.
- If I don't have my army ready in time for the King I'll hav to pay tax!
- Knights could be called in at any time to fight for the King or Baron. They protected the fief and kingdom. They protected all levels of importance.
- Peasants had a rough life. Some were more like slaves while others were more free. They worked for their local lord.
