- Luigi Vampa Abert de Morcef Franz Peppino Luigi Vampa is obsequious to the count. In the scene, Albert is released to the Count due to the favors that the chief owes him. You can tell that Vampa has no intentions of going against his favor to the count.
- Albert de morcef Franz The Count of Monte Cristo Franz thought that Albert was being indiscreet by inviting the count back to his house in Paris with Mercedes and Fernand being Albert's parents it would be a bad decision to let the count in the house.
