- when Aiden was about to sit down to have his dinner a letter came through the door from the main suspect of the crime his name was Bob Paterson and he was saying that he didn't not do the murder and he did deliver the rat poisoning to that house and he said that the little boy came to the door and said that his mum was going to be home any minute so he gave it to the little boy and when he drove away he was speeding because he needed to get to the next house and he said he only saw 2 cars on his way out a old lady and the boys mum
- Bob came and an interview with Aiden, Aiden found out some information about the murder he asked three questions the first was : where where you the night of the murder he replied with " I was delivering rat poison to houses and I delivered some to the house where the murder was and the little boy came to collect it then a car pulled into the drive just after " then he asked what kind of car turned in and he said a dark red colour that was quite big. Aidens final question was " was the rat poisoning strong enough to kill a human and he replied by saying it would kill a human with a few drops.
- Aiden gathered Bob and Margery thinking he had figured out the murder but he had a question to ask first " Margery what kind of car do you have?" she replied by saying " its a dark red quite big family car. he then said that he thought Margery had killed her own son because the boy was alive when Bob went to drop of the poison and you where the first person in after him he asked Margery if when Malcom went to the toilet did you pit the poison in his crisps or coke and she finally owned up and Aiden the proceeded to place Margery under arrest
