  • Born July 12th, 1997 Yousafzai was always a very intelligent woman. As a young child, she stood up for girls education and was issued a death threat against her. On October 9th, 2012 she was shot on her way home from school. Even after a close to death shooting continued to speck against the Taliban.
  • Being the first youth to win a Youth National Peace Prize. She was nominated this award by Archbishop Desmond Tutu. She got this award for speaking out against the Taliban's. This was after she got shot in the head and survived the traumatic injury.
  • After getting shot by the Taliban she still survived. Malala and Kailash Satyarthi a children's activist from India had an interview. In this interview, they discussed when Malala won the 2014 Noble Peace Prize. She did this by not standing down and giving young woman a right to education.
