- Yes, nothing much. She told me who she was
- So, what happened? Did you met her?
- After picking some tomatoes, Tita Loleng and Liza were talking about what happened in Lem's wake while liza was preparing the tomato for the sinigang. While cooking sinigang, Liza remembered and reminisced about what happened at the funeral.

- Everyone makes mistakes, Liza.
- Liza met her step mother, After being introduced to her, Liza tried hard to outwardly remain calm but Sylvia was not able to suppress her emotions and her tears just flowed to her eyes. She grabbed Liza's hand, she knelt and begged for forgiveness.

- Where was your Dad when she was talking to you
- Oh, he was sleeping in one of the bedrooms.
- While chopping and slicing the tomatoes and vegetables, tita Loleng asked Liza about her father, who happens to be asleep and didn't saw what happened to Liza and Sylvia.

- WHY?
- Liza's dad went out of the room, he approached Liza and stood next to her. They were having a small talk between a father and daughter thingy, but Liza didn't look and remained silent.. The word she can only utter is "WHY?"

- You go and finish off here. I will just go to my room and stretch my back out a bit.
- Tita Loleng told Liza to finished the sinigang, because she will go to her room to stretch her back a bit. She started preparing all the other ingredients that will be added to the pot later on. While Liza was cooking sinigang, she remembered some memories including her mother cooking sinigang. She also remembered her father crying while Lem’s casket was being lowered.

- Would he be the same if I was the one who died?
- At that time she saw his father crying at Lem's funeral and thought would he be the same if she was the one who died?When the sinigang was done, it would be served at dinner and Liza were picturing herself seated beside his father, and his dad would be happy because she cooked his favorite dish -SINIGANG.
