- Stanley? Is that you?
- First, Stanley decides to go looking for Zero and steals the truck when Mr. Sir is not looking. Mr. Sir tries to stop him but then lets him go.
- Next, Stanley accidentally drives into a hole and has no choice but to run. When he runs, he realizes that his water canteen is empty.
- Stanley keeps going and starts to get really exhausted. Then he finds a boat and notice there was something. He finds Zero under it. Stanley wants to take Zero back to camp but Zero disagrees.
- Zero asks Stanley if he wants some sploosh, which Stanley finds out is canned peaches that were on the ship a long time ago. He drinks it and loves the liquid and the sweet taste in his mouth. Stanley tells him about the big thumb and that they might find refuge there.
- Zero agrees with Stanley and they pack their things. They put broken jars of sploosh in a sunflower seed sack that Stanley had found earlier. Zero pulls himself up with his shovel and realizes it might come in handy on the trip.
- Lastly, Zero looks at the big thumb and realizes that it looks like a thumb. Stanley gives him a thumbs up and zero gives one to him. They start their journey to the mountain.
