- What is Cell Theory?
- Cell Theory->the theory that cells form the fundamental structural and functional units of all living organisms; proposed in 1838 by Matthias Schleiden and by Theodor Schwann.The three main principles of cell theory:All living things are made up of cells.Cells are the basic units of structure and function in living things.Living cells come only from other living cells
- What is Cell Theory?
- Robert Brown discovered the nucleus in 1885. He was looking at plants and noticed that pollen was traveling in and out of an oval cell. He deemed this oval as the nucleus
- Robert Hooke discovered cells in the year 1665. He was looking at a cork under a microscope and saw multiple chambers that look like cells.
- What is Cell Theory?
- Rudolf Virchow found out that cells are made of cell. Because of his discovery, it became easier to discover diseases.
- Theodore Schwann demonstrated the same fact for animal tissues. In 1839, together with Schleiden , they concluded that cells are fundamental components of plants and animals.
