  • Eeeeekkk, that sound is awful!
  • Our poor son! Let him go!
  • LET ME GO!!!!
  • THAT MUST BE HARRISON!
  • L L Ladies and gentlemen...
  • Musicians!! Put your earpieces back on!
  • The first scene represents Society and how everyone is “equal“. It also shows A man suffering from the sounds from the earpiece they are forced to wear. The second scene shows Harrison being taken away from his family. it shows his parents very upset but not long after will they remember very much due to the control that the government has over them. The third scene shows Harrison on television which hazel and George watch. The fourth scene shows the ballerinas wearing heavy weighted shoes to make them all equal. This also includes the headpieces masks and other things they are forced to wear to be “equal“. The fifth scene shows Harrison and his ballerina queen dead after they are shot by Diana Moon Glampers . Soon after everyone experiences ringing in their ears which helps them to forget the severity of what just happened on television. It is easy to see from this reading that the problem stated is the governments amount of control over people. It also shows societies want for all things to be fair/equal is not realistic. In order for that to happen we would all have to be controlled, which is quite frankly the opposite of what we want in a democracy.
