- Marcos Polo 1st PeriodHe looks out the door and sees nothing but the darkness of the night. Then he walks back to his chair and continues to read his book.
- Nevermore!
- Oh, Lenore
- Marcos Polo 1st PeriodHe hears another knock when he gets back and right before he gets to the door. . . A raven flies through the window, and sits upon a statue on his chamber door.
- I miss you Lenore
- Marcos Polo 1st PeriodAs Poe sits, very surprised, the Raven says. . . Nevermore, Poe is wondering what is happening, the Raven was talking to him! Ravens cannot talk in theory.
- Marcos Polo 1st PeriodPoe is thinking about his lost love Lenore, the Raven sweeps his feet against the ground and says nevermore.
- Marcos Polo 1st PeriodAs the end of the story comes, we realize that he will never get over his lost love Lenore, and we realize that that's why the Raven has appeared.
