I was born on may 19 1925 and suffered from big tragedies in my early life like my father dying to suicide and the institutionalization of my mother. I had to go to many years of being in a foster home, during that time i dropped out of middle school and then I got a job in brooklyn as a shoe shiner and a drug dealer.
When I was 20 I was sent to jail so that i could serve a ten year sentence, during this time I wanted to learn more.After I was released my brother informed me of the teachings of islam, which made me convert. then I was able to start working for the nation of islam and change my surname to X because I didn't want my slave name anymore.
I was appointed as a minister and the main spokes person for the national of islam, I was also in charge of making new mosques in the united states.
due to the work that I was doing I aws closley monitored by the fbi and the government even my group that i was apart of was being monitored
when I outed and called out eljiah muhamad I had to leave to mecca in saudi arabia because of what I had brought people due to eljiah being the main person io charge of NOI
After spending said time in saudi mecca I started directing my public work towards everyone and especillay the black community. I talked about human rights and being able to build a grand community within my community and the people that were in it.
