The disguised knight stays in the princess’s chamber. Another knight is sent to check on her.

My lady, forgive me for intruding. Rumors fly faster than arrows.
The knight fell in love with the disguised knight due to 'her' beauty and elegant mannerisms, and 'she' invites him for tea.
You flatter me, Sir Knight. Tea?
Your voice is calm as morning rain… it brings peace to my heart.

The wig slips off, and the knight's disguise is revealed.
*GASP* You're no princess!
