  • Our mental and physical health is mostly affected by relationships due to emotions and feelings. In our generation, toxic relationships are the reason many people are depressed or commit suicide. To ignore these negative relationships we need to be more acknowledgable of these certain toxic red flags. For example, having constant arguing and having no trust this can cause stress which affects gut function, insulin regulation, and the immune system. Yes relationships have an affect on physical health. Many people choose to ignore this then end up having problems like eating disorders, loosing or gaining weight rapidly or even hair loss because of how much stress it is and draining.
  • Romantic Relationships also have an affect on you mentally. For example, if your partner is controlling and abusive, this can cause depression and even suicidal thoughts due to how much of an impact this has on a person. It drains the life out of you because you are attached and you are willing to stay. Because you stay you find other ways to be distracted from these emotions like drugs or drinking. Self harm is a big thing when it comes to these certain situations because that's the only way you can feel your pain besides ignoring it. A healthy relationship includes communication, emotional support and willing to acknowledge your differences. Love is gentle and if you are going through these things, please reach out and find help. Never put yourself in a bad relationship/
