Storyboard Text

  • What was historical fiction about the book I thought It was all real!! What even is historical fiction? What makes it historical fiction?
  • wow this place reminds of the historical fiction book I read about a fire in 1940's
  • Oh so then how is it fictional?
  • OK so the story we heard was real but the author added extra things to make it more dramatic and more interesting. For example all of the characters in book were fake and the dialog each of them talking to each other. Another example is inner tough and characters interactions.
  • Oh! That helps so much thank you!
  • OK so it is still historical because they used real things from the real incident that happened. For example how the fire happened and spreader really fast from the eight floor the the ninth in seconds. Another example it shows how caustic everything was how they were rushing to try and escape and the ways they escaped.
  • Why did the author leave things out why I just don't get it.
  • Thank you soo much that helped!
  • OH they leave out things so we don't focus on them. Things that don't necessary shape the story. For example they didn't talk about a lot of deaths and people jumping out of windows but it was still there. They did not not want the focuses to be on that so they did not add it. They also left out somethings to make it more dramatic.
  • Hey Girl!!!! How do I find the theme of the story
  • So you have to look at what the big Idea of the story is. For example I would think it would be is stay on your toes. Beacuses it was an normal day then disaster struck so always be ready you never know what will happen.
  • Thank you for all your help now lets have a fun day!!!
