  • Please follow me to my Transport capsule, I will show you the layers of the Earth.
  • Okay, thats sound very interesting, to know about the different layers our planet have.
  • This is the crust, the first layer of Earth. It is also the thinnest layer, it is hard as this layer has iron magnesium silicate igneous rocks (like basalt)
  • interesting
  • Next is the upper mantle, The upper mantle is 1,802 miles thick, has a temperature of 1652 f, its Solid and viscous fluid. Like honey
  • Heat transfers by convection currents .
  • Mantle
  • Convection currents
  • Thats very cool
  • Now the lower mantle. This is a solid layer, it is 410-1,796 miles thick, and it is made by Iron magnesium, and silicon.
  • Beacuse it get more closer to the core.
  • Very cool, but why is it that each layer we go down its more hotter?
  • Now my personal favrorite layer, the outer core. This layer is 1,429 miles thick, also its 10,340 °F, and its the only liquid layer, most importantly the core is made of metal, and electrical reaction transfers to the mantle from the core.
  • Wow, very cool, and interesting, to know!!!
  • Finally the inner core, this layer is about 758 miles thick, also it has a temperature of 9800f, as you can feel it is a solid layer, two importants metals that have this layer is the same as the outer core, Nikel and Iron. Even thougth it is made from the same material as the outer core and its hotter, its because of the intense pressure.
  • Well thats it for today, thanks for letting me show you ta layers of the Earth.
  • I also see that the inner core, It generates its own magnetic field. Thanks for evrything, see you later.
