  • Introduction
  • Evolution is the procedure in which the properties and characteristics of various species change over time.Biogeography is the analysis of the geographical dispersal of flora and fauna.
  • Explanation of Biogeography
  • Examples of Biogeography
  • Intro: I will provide a brief definition of evolution to the audience. Then I'll go over the two primary things I'll be covering. Biogeography and fossil records are the two aspects in question. I'll go through these two issues and how they give compelling evidence for evolution by natural selection.
  • Explanation of Fossil Records
  • I will provide to the audience an in depth analysis on biogeography and how it a mechanism for evolution and natural selelection. I will explain how it proves evolution in species
  • Example of Fossil Records
  • I will provide an example of biogeography with Darwin Finches on the Gallapogous islands and explain how each finch on each island has adapted for their food source for example the beak might be adapted to consume nuts for its primary food source so they need a small strong beak
  • Conclusion
  • Explain how the fossil record supports evolution. Mention how life was different back then and how different it is now, as well as the evolutionary parallels between various species. Using relevant visuals and video
  • I will provide an example of fossil records and its influence and how it supports evolution I will explain this throught the horse and how it has devloped as seen by fossils eg Hycatherium (early ancestor of a horse) having 4 toes so it shows how the horse has evolved into a hoof as it has lost its need for it
  • I will summarize to the audience how
