The dog-like uncomfortably on all four yet unheeding his discomfort, he stole forward five yards and stopped (48). Jack was on his four limbs being really sneaky trying to hunt for a pig to get meat for everyone.
Oh hullo. Water? There by the tree (50). In this scene Jack was asking everyone where he could get water and then Ralph pointed out a coconut sitting next to the tree.
Once down, Ralph explained. Two shelters were in position, but shaky. This one was a ruin. “And they keep running off. You remember the meeting? How was everyone going to work hard until the shelters were finished?” (pg. 50) This is when the lost boys did not work togeather to make the shelter and Ralp and Simon only did it;
We could steal up on one-paint our faces so they wouldn't see-perhaps surround (Golding, 54) This qoute was when Jack desided to put stuff on his face to not be seen by the pigs

(56) Thid qoute is when SImon finds the spot he will go sneak of to later on in the story..
But when they reached the shelters, Simon was not to be seen. Ralph put his head in the hole, withdrew it, and turned to Jack. “He’s buzzed off.” ( Golding, 55) This was the first time they realized that he was gone again.
