- so did you hear the story abou of the johnstone twins ?how one was keept and one given away never kmowing that they shared one name till the day they died once i had a husband i met him at a dace and how he came on with the chat he said my eyes where beep blue my skin soft as snow
- Mickey and Edward meet
- then of course i found the i was six weeks overdue then the baby came along we called him darren wayne three months later i found i was in the club again an though i still fancied dancing my husband wouldnt go no more dancing i wa 20 and i look like 40 seven hungry months to feed and one more nearly due a month or two ago my husband walked out on me
- Mickey and Edward are teenagers
- mrs johnstone she makes her way to her work place mrs lyons s house during the dace she acquires a brush dsters and mop bucket the company sent him out of there nine months ago hell be back in five months time mrs lyons takes edward and brings him up as her own convincing her husdand this is true

- aged seven michey and edward meet and become best frends along with mickeys neighbour linda the three get in to trouble with the polce wen n they begin to throw stones at windows scareedof edward becomeing close to his biological family ms lyons convinces her husdand to move the family to the countryside soon afterwards the johnstones and lindas family are rehoused by the council
- as teenagers Mickey and edward meet again and they rekindle their frendship linda and the boys remine close throughout their teenage years before edward goes to university after marring a pregnant lilda mickey loses his factory job unemployed mickey is involved in a crime with one of his brothers sammy and both are send to prison .
- mickey becomes depressed and takes pills to help him cope which he continues to take after being released . after mickey comes out of prison and starts a new job mean while eward an linda start a nice bright romance .mickey finds out and is furious so he hunts for sammys gun and goe to fine edward at his workplace the town hall .mrs johnstone follows and trakes mickey and tells him in front of edward that are are twins . a few police also arrive. mihey waves the gun around in angar and he accidentally shot the gun and befor you know it has hit edward and then go on to killing him the police shoot mickey and then he bleed out and died. both twins lie there dead mrs j sits there next to them crying
