- Victor and the monster run their separate ways in a forest.
- University Victor is walking uneasily through a park when modern victor says, “I observed that it was the Swiss diligence” as University Victor approaches a vehicle driving opposite to him (Frankenstein 61). Present day Victor lets out a chuckle as he says, “I perceived Henry Clerval, who, on seeing me, instantly sprung out” (Frankenstein 61) as the two boys walk away together.
- University victor is sick and is talking to Henry until a note is handed to him by Henry, and University Victor opens it (in Elizabeth's voice) My dearest Cousin, You have been ill, very ill, and even the… (Frankenstein 67) the scene goes back to University victor as he scrambles to get upright and write back to his dearest Elizabeth.
- Noooo! Screams Justine as she stands over William's corpse. University Victor begins walking back home as fast as he can. During this time, he continues to repeat the phrase, William is dead! in his father's voice.
- Victor is standing on a mountain in the dark. His eyes fixed on a position. Present-day Victor says, I perceived in the gloom a figure which stole from behind a clump of trees near me (Frankenstein 83). Lightning lights up the mountain for us to see Frankenstein's monster.
- University Vector is set down on top of a mountain with his monster, now listening to his tale, and with a little sympathy listens, and hears him.
