Gregory makes his daily commute to work-- his 10-4 job that he loathes. And, daily, he carries that hatred with him on the way there. He speeds between traffic, cuts off people 20 miles above speed limit, and break checks lightbeds. "These people shouldn't have a license," he grumbles to himself, moments after getting into a road rage altercation every day.

Last Sunday, Gregory was feeling particularly upset about his job, and was miserable on the road. He rode drivers' booties just feet behind, revving his engine and flashing his headlights. He honked, he screamed, he gave people the finger, but it didn't change the fact that everyone was going as fast as they safely could. After a miserable thirty seconds of agonizing traffic, Gregory made a mad dash to speed between two merging lanes. He got smashed between two sedans in a moment of fury and impatience His windows shattered, his hood and doors were crumpled like paper mache, and the leather of his seats were torn violently. He tumbled across the pavement, thinking in anguish to himself "these damn stupid drivers!"

What Gregory didn't know, was that inside the car he totaled was a young couple taking their daughter to her first day of kindergarten. After Gregory, she would never be able to go to school.
