- The gifts of the gods often work in odd ways, it is best to enjoy such fortune on a long voyage like ours.
- Something isn't right here...a seemingly abandoned cave stocked to the brim with food? I'm not having a good feeling about this one.
- May Captain's direction bring us great fortune!
- I haven't eaten this good in days!
- Please...we can't die like this!
- Captain...we were fools to come in like this! We're all going to be food for that monster!
- A plan for escape will come in motion. For now it is best to confront the beast.
- Captain! Don't let him eat us...CAPTAIN!!!
- Me and my men are here to receive a gift of the gods, a gift of both food and shelter.
- You there, for what reason is it that you and your men invade my home?
- My men shall receive the food that they everso desire.
- Then it shall be your men that suffer the consequences...Since you think you can all just waltz in here and steal my food, you will all become a new source of food of mines.
- The only gift that you intruders are destined to receive would be these hands, you prideful fool.
- While all seems hopeless at first...he still needs to exit the cave to attend to his livestock, of course. By waiting for his return to exploit that weakness, we'll need to swiftly strike before the chance is provided that he'll close us back into the cave.
- Polyphemus...there may be a way to best you after all. Besides, your brawn cannot always counter my brains, ruthless adversary.
- Polyphemus is quite the challenge indeed...he yields to the laws of no god and he'll pick us all off one by one...though there ma be a solution for this.
- While killing him while he rests may be an option, we won't be able to exit this deathtrap of a cave, starvation will simply pick us all apart. We'd still require his strength in order to get out of this.
- And so a brilliant plan was devised and carried out. Using the sheep to their advantage as well as the element of surprise, this would lead to the crew's escape.
- And it was at then, Polyphemus was blinded by Odysseus and his men. Little did they know that this would present another obstacle in the form of the Cyclops's Father...Poseidon
