- 1. Would you consider this cheating? Why or why not?I would consider this cheating as the teacher specifically said to work on it independently. Tommy and Chuckie worked on it together and shared answers, therefore this is cheating.2. Who is cheating in this scenario?Though Tommy has some blame for suggesting the idea, they both carried it out so both Tommy and Chuckie were cheating.
- 3. How did they cheat? Explain.Each person did one half of the questions and traded answers afterwards. Doing this, they each only had to do have the work and could google the answers.4. How would you handle the situation if you were placed into the scenario?I would report Tommy or Chuckie anonymously and make sure they redid their assignment. If the assignment was only to check for understanding then it only hurts them to cheat on it.
