  • Kingdom of Ayodhya

  • The enlightened monarch Dasharatha ruled over the kingdom of Ayodhya many years ago. Kausalya, Kaikeyi, and Sumitra were the king's three queens. The three queens eventually gave birth to sons. Sumitra had twins,Lakshamana and Shatrughan, whereas kausalya had Rama and Kaikeyi had Bhartha.
  • Trouble
  • Vishwamitra then sent the young princes to the Mithiliakingdom, which was ruled by King Janaka. At Mithila, Rama was successful instringing a superb bow provided by Lord Shiva. Janaka's daughter Sita marriedas a result of this. Dasharatha decided that it was time for rama to becomeking.
  • War with Rivana
  • Mathara, on the other hand, was dissatisfied. She wantedBharatha, Kaikeyi's son, to be king. Kaikeyi's psyche was poisoned by Manthara.She asked Dasharatha to make Bharatha the king and send away Rama for 14 years.Bharatha was appalled by what his mother had done, and he went to the forest toencourage Rama to return, but he refused. Bharatha grabbed Rama's sandals anddeclared himself king till Rama returned.

  • Soorpanakha,a female demon, asked Rama and Lakshmana to marry one day, but they bothdeclined. She assaulted Sita, enraged by their reluctance. Lakshmana came toSita's aid when he saw this. Soorpankha went to his brother, King Ravana ofLanka, and requested that they must be punished for insulting her.
  • King Rivana was successful in capturing Sita and flew to Lanka. Rama and Lakshmana embarked on a quest for Sita. Sita had been kidnapped by Ravana, according to Jatayu. Rama dispatched Hanuman to find Sita, who was discovered in one of Ravana's royal gardens. He was caught and set his tail on fire. The war between Rama, Lakshmana, and Surgiva began when they gathered a large army. Theyfinally won after thousands of outstanding soldiers from both armies were dead.
  • Finally, Rama and Sita were joined. They had been exiled for 14 years and had returned to Ayodhya. Peoplewere overjoyed, and the celebrations lasted for several days. The gods werepleased with the new monarch, who brought prosperity and joy to the people.
