  • We now have no chance of survival
  • singing has now stopped
  • Jonas came across two paths, right or left. The singing was getting louder but he wasnt sure where it was coming from. He looked down at Gabriel as his choice wouldnt just impact him, it would also impact Gabriel’s life. Jonas stood there looking at both paths analysing them for a good 2 minutes then he made his choice. He had to do eeny meeny miny moe which is a way from the universe to decide the right decision. He finished the song and the path chosen was the left, was the universe on his side or against him he was just about to find out.

  • wait what was that?
  • HAHAHA
  • He took his first step and nothing unusual happened, so he must have been somewhere else. The song became louder, and Jonas' hands began to sweat as he worried about what would happen if he spotted someone. Every time they came to a cross road, it turned out to be a dead end. Not only did the music become louder, but the weather also became harsher. Jonas was enraged because he couldn't tell if the singing was real or if it was all in his brain as a symbol of optimism.

  • *sigh of relief
  • The music came to a halt as Jonas walked behind Gabriel, who was fast asleep. Jonas was furious because the music had been their sole means of getting to Elsewhere and now it was gone. Jonas shed a tear as he realised there was no way they could find shelter and return back safely. Jonas paused for a moment before collapsing into the chilly snowy floor. He was shivering, but that wasn't what he was thinking about. Gabriel was the only thought on his thoughts.

  • He shifted his gaze to Gabriel and observed as he blinked open his eyes. He hugged him fiercely as if it were the last time they'd be able to hug. Jonas pulled away after roughly two minutes of hugging. I'm sorry for letting you down, Jonas said to Gabriel. He sat Gabriel down when he heard something strange. Jonas took a moment to investigate the noise, but after a while he heard it again: a laugh.
  • Im sorry that I let you down Gabriel
  • Jonas peered around the area, hoping to hear the laugh again, but he didn't hear it. Jonas wasn't sure where the chuckle came from, but he knew it was coming from elsewhere. Jonas breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that he and Gabriel were finally secure. His main concern now was to find some food and shelter to keep him and Gabriel safe from the never-ending snowfall.
  • The snow continued to fall madly, but Jonas was able to find a safe haven. While he and Gabriel were protected from the snow, he heard the same same laugh as earlier as he went to pick up Gabriel. Jonas turned around to see a swarm of people seated and laughing. He screamed in the hopes that they would hear him, which they did. They waved at Jonas' signal to come over, so Jonas took Gabriel and walked up to them when he came face to face with this girl, who wasn't just any girl; she was the receiver of memory who had failed miserably at her duty.
