- the johnstones and the lyons move close to each other without knowing
- mickey and eddie find each oher again
- mickey does a job for sammy but it goes wrong
- mrs l suggests to her family that they move away because she is uncomfortable with mrs j and mickey, although she gives a different reason. a while later the johnstones are relocated, not too far from the lyons' new house. meanwhile eddie and mickey are missing each other
- mickey gets adddicted to anti-depressants
- when mickey and eddie find each other again they don't recognise each other but they become friends quickly again. they grow up through their teens together with linda. when they are eighteen eddie goes off to university and when he comes back for christmas, eddie and mickey have a fight about how eddie has everything and that mickey has been struggling.
- eddie and linda start to get close again
- after being sacked, Mickey's brother (sammy) asks him to help him with a bank robbery during which some one is shot and killed and mickey is caught, blamed and imprisoned
- how they were born, and they died, on the selfsame day
- when mickey gets out of prison he is put on anti-depressants. linda, his wife, trys to hide the from him as she believes he is a different person now that he is taking them. however it doesnt work as mickey is desperate and he has gotten addicted so much that he starts experiencing withdrawl symptons
- linda, fed up with the way her husband is treating her, calls eddie and asks to see him. they get close again and eddie starts paying for some of their thngs like a house.
- in a fit of rage, mickey storms over to Eddie's place of work to kill him. when he gets there he confronts eddie about linda and how it's unfair that they are at different positions in life. then mrs j walks in and tells them that they are twins. this just aggravates mickey even more and the gun in his hand accidentally goes off and shoots eddie. the police that arrived with mrs j shoot at mickey in return and they both end up dying
