- Bruno was walking along the fence to meet Shmuel one day. While walking there, He took the time to look at his surroundings as his side is full of greenery and very white clouds while the other side, behind the fence, is empty and alot of dark clouds surrounding it.
- Finally after the long walk, Bruno managed see Shmuel from a far distance and started to walk-fast to Shmuel. When he got there, Shmuel was seating on the floor cross-legged, waiting for Bruno. Shmuel would have a upset/worried expression on his face everytime Bruno visited him.
- Bruno sat down opposite of Shmuel and they both started to talk. Bruno would often start first as he always have things to talk about while Shmuel talk second. Bruno were talking about how he missed living in Berlin as it had wonderful places and people laughing with joy.
- As time passes, Bruno would take out a cheesecake,which he secretly took with him, to share with Shmuel. When Shmuel saw the cheesecake, his face turned from frowning to smiling. They both continued to talk until it was time to come home.
- When it was about the evening, Bruno and Shmuel say their goodbyes to each other as Bruno had to come home before it is dark. As both was walking away, they wave their hands at each other .
- As Bruno was walking back home, he wonders what is happening in Berlin while he is here in Out-With. He really misses Berlin so much that he don't even want to move anywhere from Berlin.
