Conflict Part 3: Conflict Occurring

- Sam just so happened to be sitting behind John. John had no idea that it was at this moment that Sam, finally was able to sit down after running around the office all day. Sam felt stressed since he was in a new department and had a lot of work to catch up on and was unable to find the time to work through it as he was helping other people with their problems. He truly felt terrible about it later and wanted to apologise for his actions, but could never find the right time to approach John. Now this leads the pair into a new predicament; A group project the two of them had to work on together.
- ...and with that, I'll be concluding our meeting. Sam and John you two will be tasked with compiling data and organising it into a presentation for the next company meeting. I expect that this will be done 2 weeks from now, so it's best that you two start working on it right away.
- I'm still not good at compiling specific sets of data like this... I don't want to ask Sam after what happened last time...

- In a group meeting, it was decided that John and Sam would be tasked to compile data and present it to the company within 2 weeks of time. Things were extremely awkward between the two.

- He even sounds passive aggressive in his emails. How can I work with someone like him?
- John decided that he would rather start on parts that he can instead of talking to Sam about what each of them should do.

- John thinks that it might be impossible to work with someone like Sam because in his eyes, his impression of Sam is not the greatest.
