- The landform of Lockwood consists of both flat and hilly land. Some of the physical features are mountains, bedrock ridges, and valleys.

- The mountains were formed from converging plates. The North American and Pacific plate. The valleys were carved by rivers and modified by glaciers.

- Lockwood has a maritime climate, making it one of the warmest cities in Canada.
- Lockwood has a oceanic climate. It is warmed by the Pacific ocean currents and protected by the mountains.

- On June 5th, 2021, a tsunami happened in Lockwood. Thetsunami was caused by an earthquake in the Pacific ocean. The force from the earthquake caused big waves, turning into a tsunami. The tsunami then turned into a flood, causing more damage. The tsunami killed hundreds of people, caused buildings to collapse, and contaminated soil and water.
- You can't prevent a tsunami, but you can prevent people from getting hurt. People can be evacuated, with a warning system in place preventing death.

- Lockwood can use solar energy to help reduce climate change. Using solar energy decreases gas emissions, that lead to warmer climates.
- Risk of tsunamis are increased by climate change. Climate change is a change in the temperature and weather over a long period of time. The sea levels will rise, due to climate change, causing coastal flooding. Water and food supply will also be threatened.
