The story begins whenCyrus the Great, the first king of Persia, freed the slaves of Babylon in 539 BC.

The story continues when in 1215, after King John of England broke a number of laws, his subjects forced him to sign the Magna Carta, which enumerated what later came to be considered human rights.

In 1948 Eleanor Roosevelt created the declaration of freedoms that will always be her legacy: The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
"We stand today on the threshold of a great event both in the life of the United Nations and in the life of mankind. This declaration may well become the international Magna Carta for all men everywhere."
Finally, the Universal Declaration of human Rights contains a total of 30 articles.Aims to protect alll people from unfair treatment including violence discrimination and inhumanity
