- The estates general took place in may,5 1789 the king of France was confronted by the commoners about issues haping to the peasants and the Nobles doing nothing about it.

- In June,20 1789 the commoners and some nobles met in a tennis court to met because they could not get into there own meeting place they took a oath to not abound the revolution until a new constitution was made.

- In July 14, 1789 angry french commoners stormed the Bastille in Paris to take guns and ammo they also killed the governor and put his head on a pike and took him around town

- I August 26,1789 the national assembley declared the rights of man that granted civil rights to people and was the first step to a constitution

- In October 5, 1789 women marched on the kings palace in Versailles wanting to have him support the revolution
- In June 20 1791 the king and Queen of France try to escape the revolution but are stopped when a border guard when he reconizes the kings face on a coin
