Yeah, it's kind of hard to ignore. I feel like I'm always glued to mine.
Have you ever thought about how much time we spend on our phones these days?
I've been reading about the risks associated with excessive phone use. It's pretty concerning.
What kind of risks are we talking about?

Well, studies have shown that too much screen time can disrupt our sleep patterns. It messes with our circadian rhythms.
That explains why I sometimes have trouble sleeping after scrolling through social media late at night.
Exactly. And beyond sleep, it can also impact our mental health. Some research suggests it contributes to feelings of anxiety and depression.
I can see how that might happen. When I spend too much time online, I do feel more on edge sometimes.

That sounds like a good idea. We could also try to be more mindful about when and how often we use our phones.
So, maybe we should think about setting some boundaries for ourselves. Like limiting screen time before bed.
Definitely. And finding alternative activities that don't involve screens could help too. Like going for a walk or reading a book.
I'm up for that. It's all about finding a healthier balance with technology.
