- Call To Adventure
- STEP DEFINITION:The hero is given a task or finds a problem they must solve. This task usually invites the hero on a journey away from their normal way of life.
- SUMMARY: Percy, His mom, and Grover are driving to Camp half-blood while being chased by hades and his monsters. On the way there they get struck by lightning. Percy and his mom were uninjured but Grover was unconscious. Percy's mom told Percy to run away but he wouldn't, not without them. They were then attacked by the Minotaur. Percy uses his mom's advice to protect himself but the Minotaur was able to get ahold of his mom. She disintegrated into golden light from the Minotaur. Percy used his anger to rip off the minitour horn and defeat the minotaur. He and Grover were able to make it to the top of the hill.
