- In Chapter 7, We see that Scout is starting to leave Jem alone. Then Jem tells Scout about what happened the night that they went over to the Radley's yard. Then Nathen Radley amitted to pouring cement in the knothole of the tree.
- Chapter 10
- In Chapter 8, We see that Jem and Scout make a snowman that has mud in the inside of it. They made the snowman to look like Mr Nathen Radley. Then Mrs. Maudie's house gets caught on fire. Them Boo comes out and puts a blanket on Scout.
- Chapter 11
- In Chapter 9, We see that Scout got into a fight with a kid named Cecil Jacobs. Then Atticus tells Scout about a case that he took when he defended a negro. Then Scout got into a fight with her cousin Francis.
- In Chapter 10, We see that Jem likes to play football with Atticus. Then the school hears about Atticus defended Tom Robinson. Atticus told Jem that it is a sin to kill a mockingbird.
- In Chapter 11, We see that Mr. Dubose says to Jem that Atticus is no better than the trash that he works for. Then Scout found a picture of Dixie Howell and showed it to Jem and told him that he looks like the picture.
