- The pope led the 150,000 people for the first round of the crusade which meant they captured Jerusalem. Unfortunately while the pope was leading the people the Turks killed some of the untrained men, women, and children

- In the Second Crusade the crusaders failed because they didn't treat the majority of the Muslim Palestine well and had no local support. After the Second Crusade failed the Paladin the Muslim leader grew stronger

- Because of the Second Crusade fail the Third Crusade was provoked. Lion Heart who was Richard I was the new Crusade leader and made a truce with Saladin about the Third Crusade.

- The crusaders looted Constantinople the most richest city in the byzantine empire. They stole and smashed many stuff from Constantinople and attacked women. This made the pope really mad and he said that they should have use their sword against the infedil and not the Christians. The pope never forgave for that
- All of this looting and stuff made them never reach the holy land. This made the pope embarassed.
