Today class I'll be discussing the evidence of evolution. There are many pieces of evidence but today we'll be focusing on Biogeography and Fossil record
Biogeography is the study of the wear about's of the living things in this world.
But they evolved over time and slowly started moving closer towards the ocean and eventually Started to swim.
Since the age before the dinosaurs animals have been moving around to fit their lives. Take a whale for example
They looked a little like this.
Whales' attitudes changed as they moved around in the ocean. Examples of change is, diet as well as looks.
FOSSIL RECORD
Fossils help scientists knowing when a specific species lived and how they lived as well
They also can be measured to tell how long ago the animal is from
It measures the carbon based materials that originated from living organisms.
Scientists use a method to calculating how old a fossil is. It's called radiocarbon Dating.
